When we first moved to CA we got cable only so we could watch the
Simpsons! Steve used to live in the Tri-Cities (Richland, Kennewick
and Pasco) Washington (home of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation
where the US made weapons grade plutonium). Probably one of the
most polluted places on the planet. Anyway, Matt Groenig being from
Seattle, Steve swore that Homer and Springfield were actually
Richland and any number of employees of Hanford.

Homer J. and Bart J. Simpson have the middle name Jay after Matt's
devotion to Jay Ward, creator of Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Can't wait ot go find homer and have a donut!
